About this Creative
My work explores memory, human connection, separation, healing, and faith. I work across different mediums, including oil, acrylic, canvas, and traditional Nigerian handwoven textile (ofi/aso-oke). I’m interested in how materials, objects, and personal experiences can carry emotions and tell stories. A lot of my work comes from my experiences growing up, observing people and relationships, and reflecting on the presence of God in our everyday lives. I see art as a way of processing life, expressing what words sometimes cannot, and creating a space for connection and healing.
